The first "quote" is NOT the words of the Buddha, it is a false quote, a hoax. Here's the real quote:
Let go of the past, let go of the future,
let go of the present, and cross over to the farther shore of existence.
With mind wholly liberated,
you shall come no more to birth and death.
Notice it says "LET GO OF THE PRESENT" too?
but they removed it because it doesn't accord with the New Age hedonist/materialist dogma.
